On World Earth Day we gather round,
To honour our planet, our sacred ground.
We celebrate the beauty and wonder,
Of this world we call home, so rich and so thunder.
The oceans, the mountains, the forests so green,
The animals that roam, the rivers that gleam.
The sunsets, the stars, the skies so blue,
All part of this world, so precious and true.
But we must remember, this earth needs our care,
For we have not always treated it fair.
We must reduce our waste, our pollution too,
And work together to make our planet anew.
