The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) has earmarked $125 million as part of a larger $225 million funding initiative aimed at bolstering Nigerian developmental endeavors, specifically channeled into the Abia State Integrated Infrastructure Development Project.
This significant allocation was formalized during the 354th assembly of the IsDB Board of Executive Directors, convened on Saturday under the auspices of His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser, the President and Group Chairman of the organization.

The infusion of $125 million into the Nigerian landscape is intended to catalyze various facets of development, primarily focusing on enhancing road infrastructure, augmenting access to essential social amenities and markets, curtailing travel durations and associated costs along major thoroughfares within Abia State, and fostering inclusivity through the provision of secure and convenient transportation alternatives for the populace.
