“Health”  according to WHO is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. Healthy living may be known as the lifestyle or activities that lowers the risk of contaminating diseases and sickness.  

Healthy living habits that can be incorporated into the daily routine for a healthy lifestyle are: 

Consuming a balanced and nutritious diet. Foods or meals that are packed with healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, lean proteins, and whole grains should be consumed and  junk and processed foods avoided.

Staying Hydrated at all times. Drinking enough water throughout the day is essential to keep your body working at its optimum level.

Engaging in Regular physical can help maintain a healthy weight, reduce the risk of getting chronic diseases and boost your mental health.

A good night’s rest is critical for your physical and mental well-being. Having about 7-8 hours of uninterrupted sleep every night is great for the overall health. Chronic stress has a negative impact on the overall health and needs to be avoided or controlled. It is great to engage in activities that helps to alleviate stress, such as meditation or deep breathing exercises.

Building and maintaining meaningful relationships and connecting with people is important for your emotional health.

Regular washing of hands, brushung of teeth twice a day, and ensuring the surroundings are kept clean to prevent the spread of diseases.

Unhealthy habits such as smoking should be avoided  for your organs health and excessive alcohol consumption should be limited to maintain good health. Taking breaks from work and other commitments more often can help and improve overall productivity.

Prioritize your health by regularly visiting the Healthcare providers for check ups, immunization, screening and so on as needed.  Pay more attention to the present moment without judgment can help you become more aware of your thoughts, feelings, and surroundings.

It is of great importance and essential to keep your mind active and continue to learn new things, as it can help to delay age-related cognitive decline.
