HEALTH BENEFITS OF LIME WATER

Lime water is a refreshing and natural drink made by mixing fresh lime juice with water. It is packed with vitamin C and other essential nutrients, offering numerous health benefits. Lime water is widely consumed for hydration, digestion, and overall wellness.
It is known as “Orombo wewe” in Yoruba, “Lemu tsami” in Hausa and “Orombo” in Igbo parts of Nigeria.

How to Prepare Lime Water
Ingredients:
• 1 fresh lime
• 1 cup (250ml) of warm or cold water
• Optional: Honey or ginger for extra flavor
Instructions:
1. Wash 1 fresh lime thoroughly to remove dirt and pesticides.
2. Cut the lime into two halves and squeeze the juice into a cup of water.
3. Stir well.
4. Add honey or ginger if desired.
5. Drink fresh, preferably in the morning or before meals
