Forvis Mazars expands African presence with new global network and key sponsorships

Forvis Mazars, a professional service firm and an international firm specializing in tax, audit and advisory services has launched a $5 billion new global financial advisory firm network in Lagos, Nigeria amongst other economic presences in West Africa.

Additionally, Forvis Mazars opened new offices in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso in April 2024, further demonstrating its commitment to supporting local businesses and energy projects in West Africa.

The firm’s expansion coincides with major developments in the region, including the commencement of operations at Senegal’s Sangomar oilfield and the upcoming production start of the Greater Tortue Ahmeyim liquefied natural gas (LNG) project, which straddles the maritime border between Senegal and Mauritania.

Other notable energy projects in West Africa include Nigeria’s LNG Train 7, offshore oil and gas exploration campaigns in Ivory Coast, and Ghana’s Tema floating LNG plant.
