The Federal Government has called on Nigerians, particularly youth, women, and mechanisation companies, to apply for the Renewed Hope National Agricultural Mechanisation Programme (RHAMP).
RHAMP is a flagship initiative designed to modernise farming and boost food security across the country.
The call for applications, announced on Thursday, November 6, 2025, by Dada Olusegun, Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Social Media, follows the formal unveiling of the programme in June 2025, when the President distributed 2,000 tractors and thousands of farming implements to farmers nationwide.
Implemented through the Bank of Agriculture (BOA) in partnership with Heifer Nigeria, the programme seeks to empower a new generation of mechanisation service providers with a focus on women, youth, and agribusiness enterprises.
Interested applicants are encouraged to apply via the official website — https://boanig.com — before the November 10, 2025 deadline.
According to the BOA, the initiative offers access to affordable tractors and implements supported by a three-year servicing plan at verified service centres or mobile hubs.
Beneficiaries will also enjoy flexible repayment options linked to usage and income generation, technical support, and digital tracking via IoT technology.
The RHAMP features competitive terms, including 3–5 year lease options, 15 per cent interest rates, 25 per cent down payment, and special conditions for women and youth.
President Tinubu, during the June launch, described the programme as a “monumental leap forward” in Nigeria’s agricultural transformation agenda.
“Today, we take a monumental leap forward with the introduction of the state-of-the-art tractors through our new agricultural mechanisation programme. We are very proud of what we are doing,” the President said.
He added that the first phase of the initiative would deploy over 2,000 advanced tractors, 50 industrial-grade bulldozers, 12 fully equipped mobile workshops, and over 8,000 specialised farming implements.
The RHAMP represents a major step in the Tinubu administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, aimed at achieving national food sufficiency, empowering farmers, and improving rural livelihoods through technology-driven agriculture.
