FG rolls out over 500 CNG buses cross Nigeria

The Federal Government has kick-started the distribution of over 500 Compressed Naturl Gas (CNG) buses across the 36 states of  the nation, starting with handing over of 20 CNG powered buses to the Oyo State Government’s  Pacesetter Transport Service.

 

According to the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiave (P-CNGi) Programme Director, Michael Oluwagbemi, following the roll out of the buses in Ibadan on Monday, the next  states scheduled to receive the  (P-CNGi) buses are Lagos, Kwara, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.

 

Speaking at the handing over ceremony in Ibadan, Oluwagbemi said the plan is to distribute over 500 CNG powered buses across all the 36 states of the nation within the next 24 months.
