FG reaffirms commitment to advancing gas development agenda

The Federal Government has reaffirmed its commitment to advancing Nigeria’s gas development agenda.
The apex government expressed the reaffirmation at a meeting between the Nigeria Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) Chief Executive (ACE), Engr. Saidu Mohammed, and the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), Ekperipe Ekpo, in Abuja on Monday.
During the meeting, the minister congratulated Engr. Mohammed on his appointment and pledged the Federal Government’s full support for the Authority’s initiatives.
On his part, the newly appointed Authority helmsman, Engr. Mohammed, expressed appreciation for the minister’s support and reaffirmed that under his leadership, the NMDPRA will continue to drive gas development projects nationwide.
The engagement highlighted the Federal Government’s determination to strengthen stakeholder collaboration, boost sustainable growth in the gas sector, and enhance national energy security.
