FG Lauds Taraba’s Drive for Healthy Environment

The Federal Ministry of Environment has reaffirmed its unwavering support for the initiatives of the Taraba State Government aimed at fostering a healthy environment and sustainable practices.

This commitment was made evident during a recent courtesy visit by the Taraba State Commissioner of Environment and Climate Change, Hajia Aishat A. Barde, to the Minister of Environment, Balarabe Abbas Lawal in Abuja.

During the visit, Minister Abbas Lawal assured the Taraba State delegation of the ministry’s dedication to fostering effective cooperation and coordination on environmental matters.

He emphasized the importance of collaboration between sister Ministries in addressing environmental challenges.

Hajia Barde’s visit served to further strengthen the partnership between the Federal Ministry of Environment and Taraba State Ministry of Environment and Climate Change.

The discussions centered around areas of mutual interest, including capacity building, data sharing, research, policy alignment, networking, and project implementation.
