Fact-Check: Is the Apocalyptic Scene of Los Angeles Wildfire True?

Claims: This is the apocalyptic scene of the Los Angeles wildfire.
Last week, @TurkishCentury, an X page, posted an apocalyptic scene stating it was a scene from the Los Angeles wildfire. The scene looked so unreal that it raised a lot of questions if this scene was actually authentic.

NatureNews, Africa’s foremost newspaper on climate change, which is dedicated to providing accurate insights to stop the spread of fake news particularly among users of social media, subjected the claim to fact checking.
Findings: Using the Google search tool in conducting this research, NatureFact, the fact checking unit of NatureNews, accessed a few papers and studies.
A thorough fact-checking investigation has revealed that this claim is true.

@ChannelsTV had scenes of the “apocalyptic” scenes in their live streams.

@CNNNews18 went live as they said the fires are still ongoing and has been really difficult to douse.

@NBCNews termed it an apocalyptic destruction of the California landscape.

@mmmljh described as an “end of the world” scene where the sun couldn’t be seen due to the smog.

@EqualizerVocals posted videos of the Palisades fire of LA, California.
The LA, California wildfire was indeed an apocalyptic view.
