Emir Of Bichi Advocates Mechanised Farming In Kano State

The Emir of Bichi, Nasir Ado Bayero, stressed the significance of adopting mechanized farming to improve food production in the state during a recent Sallah tribute visit to Governor Abba Yusuf at the Government House in Kano.
In his address, Mr. Bayero highlighted the approaching rainy season and stressed the necessity for the government to provide various farm inputs and fertilizers at subsidized rates to support farmers.
Additionally, he urged the state government to focus on harnessing solar power for electricity generation as part of efforts to enhance agricultural productivity.
Acknowledging the state government’s commendable developmental projects over the past 10 months, Mr. Bayero expressed appreciation for the strides made in infrastructure development.
In response, Governor Yusuf reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to improving infrastructure and essential services, including healthcare and education.
He emphasized the government’s dedication to enhancing agriculture as one of its key priorities for sustainable development.
The exchange underscores the collaborative efforts between traditional and governmental authorities to promote agricultural innovation and address food security challenges in Kano.
