Denmark halt use of AstraZeneca vaccine
Denmark has announced the discontinuing of the use of AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine over the fears of blood clotting.
Soren Brostrom, Head of the Danish Health Administration confirmed this Wednesday.
Brostrom, however, told the media at a conference in Copenhagen that the vaccination campaign will continue.daily post reports

On March 11, the country temporarily suspended the AstraZeneca shot as a precautionary measure.
The action followed isolated severe cases of blood clots and suspected deaths.
The European Medicines Agency and the World Health Organization (WHO) insist the dose by the British-Swedish remains safe.
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), the National Agency for Food, Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC), and the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) are jointly investigating.
