Deforestation: NASENI shares smokeless stoves, pressure pots in Kebbi

By Yemi Olakitan

The National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) has given 350 smokeless stoves and pressure pots to rural women and households in Bagudo, Kebbi State.

President Muhammadu Buhari authorised NASENI to discourage firewood use and reduce deforestation in the state and nation.

Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu thanked Buhari for his development efforts in Kebbi State, the North West, and Nigeria while presenting commodities to beneficiaries in Bagudo town yesterday.

He urged state residents to vote for Tinubu/Shattima and other APC candidates in the upcoming general elections.

He urged recipients not to misplace or sell the items because officials would monitor them.
