Covid-19: NCDC confirms 343 new cases, FCT records highest ever

The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control, NCDC, has announced 343 new cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country with FCT recording the highest figure ever, Nature News gathered.

The centre announced this via its verified website.

This latest update takes the total number of cases in the country to 68,303.

The public health agency disclosed that fourteen states plus the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) reported new infections.

According to NCDC, FCT recorded the highest number of cases with 123 followed by Lagos, Kaduna, Nasarawa and Rivers with 106, 72,14, and , 5, respectively.

Other states were Oyo, 7; Bayelsa, 5; Taraba, 4; and Sokoto, 1.
