Club clean-ups 5km Eleko Beach

HighGarden Private Beach Club says it has cleaned up the 5km long Eleko Beach, in commemoration of the World Clean-up Day.

The Managing Director of the HIGHGARDEN Private Beach Club, Mr Wale Ewedemi, disclosed this in a statement on Monday in Lagos.

Ewedemi said the reason for embarking on the clean-up was to create environmental awareness and cleanliness.

“Environmental cleanliness and awareness is key to our values as a lifestyle brand. So, we use the World Clean-up Day to indoctrinate our customers and friends into one of our core lifestyle values.

“The exercise started at 9.00 a.m. and rounded up at noon. Plastics and debris were collected, separated, and marked for pickup,” he said.
