Buhari signs pledge card for open defecation eradication

President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday has signed a Pledge Card to end open defecation in Nigeria By 2025.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Minister of Water Resources, Engr. Suleiman Adamu.
Pledge Card is a commitment booklet which was prepared during the flag- off of the campaign to end open defecation in Nigeria.
The Card is to be signed by the Chief Executives of both the Federal and State Governments, signifying their readiness to give political and financial support towards meeting the target of ending open defecation in Nigeria by 2025.
Buhari had led the move by signing the Card and State Governors are expected to follow suit in signing the Pledge Card and committing to end open defecation in their respective States by the target date.
Also, the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo followed in the steps of the President to sign the Pledge Card.
