The Nigerian Metrological Agency has forecasts today’s weather conditions in Nigeria via there Twitter handle.
According to the agency forecast, Sunny conditions with patches of clouds are expected over the northern
region throughout the forecast period with the exception of Sokoto, Gusau and Katsina where Dust haze condition is expected.
Meanwhile, pockets of clouds are expected to prevail over the north central states in the morning hours with chances of localized thunderstorms over parts of Abuja, Makurdi, Ilorin and southern Taraba during the afternoon and evening period.
Mostly cloudy conditions are anticipated over the inland cities of the south while the coastal cities of Calabar, Eket, Yenagoa and PortHarcourt have prospects of isolated thunderstorms during the morning hours.
The agency said that later in the day, there are chances of localized thunderstorms over parts of Ondo, Ogun, Osun, Oyo, Obudu, Edo, Cross River, Rivers, Bayelsa and Lagos state.
