Mint leaves as the name imply are well known aromatic herbs for their flavours and numerous health benefits. There are different varieties of mints all over the world and had been in existence in centuries. All varieties of mint plants are loaded with anti-oxidants and numerous health benefits.

Mint leaves serve as great appetizer, they stimulate digestive enzymes and improves the digestive systems. The antiseptic and antibacterial properties of mint oil helps to reduce indigestions and stomach related infections.

Mint oil contains menthol which causes the digestive tract to relax . Mint leaves also give relief to chest congestion which are healthy for asthmatic patients.
