The Federal Ministry of Water Resources has announced the rescheduling of its 28th Regular Meeting of the National Council on Water Resources to hold in Abuja.
The announcement was made by the Ministry’s permanent Secretary, Mrs Didi Walson-Jack.
The meeting was to hold in Sokoto from 29th November – 3rd December 2021 but it has been rescheduled to hold in Abuja from 12th- 17th December 2021.
The venue of the meeting will be at Grand Pella Hotel and Suites, Durumi Area 1, Abuja.
The statement reads: “The Honourable Commissioners for Water Resources in the 36 States and FCT, the Permanent Secretaries, Managing Directors of River Basin Development Authorities (RBDAs), Executive Directors of River Basin Development Authorities (RBDAs), Managing Directors of State Water Boards, Managing Directors/General Managers of Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Agencies, Chairman/Executive Secretaries of Water Regulatory Commissions, relevant Stakeholders and Development Partners that the 28th Regular Meeting of the National Council on Water Resources (NCWR) with the theme Emerging Financial and Management Challenges for Sustainable Water Infrastructure in Nigeria” earlier scheduled for Sokoto from 29th November – 3rd December 2021 has been rescheduled to hold in Abuja from 12th- 17th December 2021.”
The Meeting is Scheduled to hold as follows:
Date: Sunday 12th December 2021 (Arrival of Participants).
Monday 13th December- 15th December, 2021 (Technical Session).
Thursday 16th December, 2021 (National Council Meeting).
Friday 17th December, 2021 (Departure).
