The Lekki Deep Sea Port & Lekki Freeport Terminal in collaboration with the Lagos Free Zone Command of the Nigeria Customs Service, have carried out a sensitisation on the inherent benefits of the Lekki Free Zone.

According to a post on the X handle of the Lekki Deep Sea Port, the programme was supported by the Customs Area Controller, Comptroller Mohammed Babandede who assured the enterprises within the Lekki Free Zone of continued fast clearance of free zone cargo.
The post read in part: “In support of this assertion, enterprises within the Lekki Free Zone who have enjoyed this experience, applauded Comptroller Babandede for his efforts in enhancing the efficiency of customs procedures in Lekki Port.
“Lekki Port and Lekki Freeport Terminal will host more roadshows in other free zones in the Lekki economic axis as well as across the country in the coming weeks.”
