Chinese heavyweight Zhilei Zhang has tipped Daniel Dubois to defeat Anthony Joshua in their IBF heavyweight title clash on September 21 at Wembley.
Zhang, who is riding a wave of success after stopping Joe Joyce twice in 2022 and knocking out Deontay Wilder in March 2023, shared his thoughts following his latest victory.
Despite a narrow points loss to Joseph Parker, the 41-year-old “Big Bang” believes Dubois has what it takes to upset the former champion.
Speaking to BoxNation, Zhang explained why he favours the younger Dubois in the highly anticipated showdown.
“I personally favour Daniel Dubois to pull this off because he’s on a surge. He’s young, he’s hungry, he has the fire in him,” Zhang said.
“He had a beautiful knockout victory over Filip Hrgovic last time, so I really have my faith in the underdog, and I believe he can win. I believe he will shock the world.”
