First industrial complexes inaugurated in Egypt to improve housing development

Egypt’s minister of Local Development Mahmoud Shaarawy has noted that efforts will be maintained to implement the directives of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to develop the Egyptian villages and micro, small and medium enterprises.

He added that the ministry was supporting the plans of the government to face unemployment among youth and bread-winning women in the different governorates to provide sustainable job opportunities to improve the living conditions of the citizens.

This came during the inking ceremony of a contract on Tuesday to establish the first industrial complex in Fayyoum with the participation of Planning Minister Hala el Saeed which comes as part of an initiative of the Ministry of Local Development and Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI) to provide job opportunities for youth and women.

The contract was inked by Fayyoum Governor Ahmed el Ansari, Head of FEI Mohamed el Sweedy in addition to other officials of the ministries of planning and local development.

The ministry conducted an analytic study on the similar projects and successful experiments implemented in some governorates topped by Qalubiya, he added.

Simultaneously, Ansari expressed happiness over establishing this industrial complex in Fayyoum to provide job opportunities for the residents of the governorate.
