FG appoints New CEO For Inland Waterways Authority, NSC

The Federal Government of Nigeria on the advice of Minister Adegboyega Oyetola, has named two new CEOs to positions in parastatals and agencies within the Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu appointed Alhaji Munirudeen Bola Oyebanji, the Managing Director and CEO of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), and Mr. Akutah Pius Ukeyima, the Executive Secretary and CEO of the Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC), are the two new appointees.

This information was revealed in a statement made by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Advisor to the President on Media and Publicity, who said that Tinubu assigned the new appointees in this crucial area to faithfully carry out the minister’s policies and programmes.

Ngelale’s statement is as follows:

According to the recommendations of the Honourable Minister, H.E. Adegboyega Oyetola, President Bola Tinubu has authorised the appointment of two new Chief Executive Officers of Parastatals and Agencies under the Federal Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy:

Alhaji Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji is the Managing Director and CEO of the National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA), while Mr. Akutah Pius Ukeyima is the Executive Secretary and CEO of the Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC).

“President Bola Tinubu assigns the newly appointed officials in this crucial field to diligently carry out the policies and initiatives of the Honourable Minister with the goal of achieving increased revenues and investments as quickly and effectively as possible as part of the Blue Economy strategy of the Renewed Hope Agenda.”
