Prasiolite though originated in Brazil has been found in other parts of the world including Argentina, Poland, Canada, and the United States.

Prasiolite is a prominent gemstone that is used for various jewelry designs including rings, pendants, and earrings. It is believed to have healing abilities and used in spiritual healing and meditation practices due to its association with the heart chakra.

Prasiolite is a rare transparent to translucent gemstone that has a pale green to a yellowish-green color. It has a hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale, making it a durable gemstone for everyday wear. Prasiolite is a member of the quartz family and is formed by exposing amethyst to high temperatures.

Prasiolite global value is dependent on several factors such as color intensity, clarity, and carat weight. It is less valued than other members of the quartz family such as amethyst, citrine, and smoky quartz.

However, high-quality prasiolite with intense color and clarity can be quite valuable and can fetch a higher price in the market.
