The Dare Adeboye Foundation (DAF) has awarded scholarships to 100 children living at the Olusosun Dumpsite in Lagos through its NEST Project (Nurturing Education, Skills, and Technology).

The initiative aims to bridge educational gaps for vulnerable children and create pathways out of poverty.

Pastor Oluwagbemileke Adeboye, Chairman of DAF’s Board of Trustees, described the intervention as a practical way to support children academically. “We didn’t just come with words; we are showing actions.

By the end of today, about 100 children will be going to school,” he said, citing Matthew 25:35–36 to highlight the foundation’s mission of kindness and care.
Temi Adeboye, wife of the late Pastor Dare Adeboye, said the project responds to the growing number of school-age children exposed to unsafe conditions without access to formal education.

“Every child deserves schooling, dignity, and the chance to fulfill their potential. Through the NEST Project, we are committed to ensuring circumstance does not determine a child’s future,” she said.

The initiative also includes distributing school bags and learning materials, providing medical screenings, clothing, and nutritious meals for families—measures aimed at ensuring education is supported by stability and care.
