Garlic is an herb basically used in the treatment of heart and blood related conditions. It produces a chemical known as Allicin which gives it’s smell and makes it useful in the treatment of certain ailments. Garlic are rich sources of minerals like Vitamin C, Vitamin K, folate, niacin, thiamine, zinc , potassium, magnesium, phosphorus etc.

Consuming raw garlic in an empty stomach has the potential to cure cough and cold. It kills the bad bacteria in the gut and helps to reduce inflammation too. 

Allicin a powerful compound produced in garlic helps to prevent the oxidation of bad cholesterol known as Low density lipoprotein hence reducing cholesterol levels and improving heart health. Eating garlic more often prevents blood from clotting.

Garlic has anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties and as such promotes brain health and reduces the risk of suffering from neurodegenerative diseases.

Zinc in garlic boost immunity. Garlic protects the body from free radical that causes harm and damage to the cells. Vitamin C fights infections especially ear and eye infections because of it’s antimicrobial properties.

Fresh garlic juice reduces the growth of bacteria, promotes hair growth, bone and liver health. Garlic prevents the body from cancers (colon, bladder, stomach, lung, prostrate), this is due to their antioxidative properties. They also give protection to all skin types.
