AFRICA: Power & Electricity World forum holds in August 2022 in Johannesburg

Power & Electricity World Africa which aims to accelerate sustainable energy on
the continent through the promotion of low carbon innovations and renewable
energy solutions is set to hold its 25th edition of Africa forum which will focus on
energy and environmental protection.
The event will hold on August 23 and 24, 2022 in the Sandton Convention Centre
in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The forum will serve as an exhibition platform for new South African and
international companies operating in the energy and environmental protection
sectors.
The event will bring together about 6,000 participants from 40 countries around
innovation and investment in the energy sector.
About 200 exhibitors which includes utilities, independent power producers
(IPPs), large energy users and innovative solution providers such as start-ups, will
attend the event.
During this meeting, renewable energy, energy transition and efficiency, off-grid,
and solar installation will be discussed.
In its 25 years of existence, the event organized by Solar Show Africa has
contributed to the financial closure of 122 projects totalling 10,000 MW on the
African continent.
