FG to assist in reconstructing burnt Sokoto Central Market — Gambari says

The Federal Government has promised to assist Sokoto State Government in reconstructing the Central Market razed by fire last week.
The Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Professor Ibrahim Gambari, assured this on Monday when he led a high-powered delegation to commiserate with the people of Sokoto State, as well as the victims of last Tuesday’s inferno on behalf of President Muhammadu Buhari.
In his speech, Gambari said, “Mr. President sent us here in solidarity with the state and to console the people of the state over the unfortunate fire incident.”
“He directs us to offer his condolence on behalf of the Federal Government and to assure you of the Federal Government support to the state in the rebuilding process of the market.”
Responding, Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, expressed his appreciation to the delegation and commended President Buhari for his concern for the state “at this trying time.”
