ITREALMS media joins prevent waste alliance to advance sustainability efforts

By Abdullahi Lukman

ITREALMS Media has officially become a member of the PREVENT Waste Alliance, a global network dedicated to reducing waste, eliminating pollutants, and promoting resource reutilization in the economy.

The alliance’s Secretariat in Bonn, Germany, confirmed ITREALMS Media’s membership following approval by the Steering Committee.

As part of the alliance, ITREALMS Media will collaborate with other members to enhance sustainability initiatives and address environmental challenges.

Lead Consulting Strategist Ogbuefi Remmy Nweke expressed enthusiasm about the membership, highlighting opportunities for knowledge sharing and joint action to foster a circular economy.

The PREVENT Waste Alliance focuses on key areas such as plastics, electronic waste, organic waste, and circular economy practices.

ITREALMS Media aims to actively participate in these efforts, building on its ongoing ITREALMS E-Waste Dialogue initiative launched in 2020, which promotes sustainable e-waste management and advocates for supportive policies.

Through this partnership, ITREALMS Media seeks to contribute to innovative solutions for waste management and strengthen its role in advancing environmental sustainability.
