By Chisom Ibemere
Boji stones or Shaman stones, are a type of concretion found in Smoky Hill Chalk deposits of Kansas, USA. It has an unclear history and origin.
They are formed through a process of mineralization, where mineral-rich solutions percolate through sedimentary rock, resulting in the formation of concretions which are often spherical or oval-shaped and consist of various minerals, including pyrite and marcasite.
Boji stones are basically used in spiritual and metaphysical practices. They are believed to possess unique properties that aid in healing, energy balancing, and meditation.
Boji stones are used by majority for grounding and protection, as well as for enhancing intuition and psychic abilities. It is believed to support overall well-being and personal transformation.
Boji stones are composed of pyrite (iron sulfide) and marcasite (iron sulfide), including other associated minerals. They have a rough exterior with a distinctive brown or grey color and a spherical or oval shape.
They are said to have a unique energy that can balance and align the body’s energy systems. They are believed to stimulate the flow of energy, clear blockages, and promote harmony and grounding.
Boji stones have a hardness of 6 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale and varied density which depends on their specific mineral composition. The value of Boji stones primarily lies within the metaphysical and spiritual community.
BOJI STONES are valued for their energetic properties and are sought after by individuals interested in holistic healing, energy work, and crystal healing.
Their scarcity and unique composition contribute to their value among collectors and enthusiasts. They are not commercially valued and significant.
