A recent Instagram video about vertical farming using aeroponic towers and its application to agriculture was shared. It said, “Vertical farming with aeroponic towers allows you to grow hundreds of different nutrients dense crops while saving on space and water usage.
The video has received over 44.1k likes, 507 comments, and 225 shares from the user agrotonomy, who has over 1.9 million followers. The page also features more videos related to tower planting.

The assertion was verified by fact-checking, as NatureNews, Africa’s top nature publication, is dedicated to providing accurate insights to prevent the spread of false information, particularly among users of social media.
Findings: Using the Google search engine and the Bing AI tool to learn more about the aeroponic tower farming technique, NatureFact, the fact-checking division of NatureNews, conducted an investigation into the claim. It was discovered that the same page had published information about it on October 23, 2022.
