A Belgian organisation called Entrepreneurs Without Borders (OZG) has sent a delegation of experts to Namibia, which will be in the country from 2 to 15 February.
According to a statement issued by Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism spokesperson Romeo Muyunda, the delegation includes Werner Sels, the founding chief executive officer (CEO)of OZG.
Other members of the delegation are the top leadership of the organisation, comprising Steven Buyse, the OZG chairperson, and about 50 CEOs and business executives from countries such as France, Belgium and The Netherlands.

“OZG specialises in agroforestry projects that combat interrelated problems of desertification, land degradation, and climate change,” Muyunda says.
He says the organisation has successfully implemented projects in Burkina Faso and Senegal, and it is believed that Namibia, being one of the driest countries and most vulnerable to climate change in sub-Saharan Africa, may benefit from the activities of this organisation.
The group aims to implement a large-scale reforestation project in Namibia and is keen to work with the environment ministry.
Muyunda says a welcoming event for the delegation was held yesterday at Arebbusch Travel Lodge.
