Heavy rain in Madagascar kill 10, rendered many homeless

Heavy rains in Antananarivo, the capital city of Madagascar have killed 10 people, damaged many properties including collapsed houses and flooded fields.

According to risk and disaster management office who reported to xhinua said about 500 people were displaced and two people were injured.

For its part, the authority for the protection against floods of the Antananarivo plain also issued a notice of threat of danger in the plain of Antananarivo crossed by the river Sisaony.

Madagascar is in the midst of rainy season that often results in casualties and widespread damage.
