14 offices have been affected after a fire outbreak on Wednesday razed the Department of Agricultural Sciences Gubi campus of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) Bauchi.
According to the Nation, students around the premises of the department had to run for safety while efforts were made to put out the fire.
The fire service team in the campus was prompt enough to quench the fire, a source said.
‘’Though no life was lost valuable documents and other items were destroyed by the fire outbreak,’’ the source added.
The Nation correspondent made efforts to speak to the University authorities on the actual cause of the outbreak but it proved abortive as at press time.
