NiMet predicts thunderstorm, cloudy to sunny skies

The Nigerian Metrological Agency, NiMet, has forecasts the average weather conditions of states in Nigeria via it official Twitter account for Monday 24 May 2021.
According to the forecast, Partly cloudy to sunny skies should prevail over the Northern region with prospects of isolated thunderstorms over parts of Taraba, Sokoto, Zamfara, Kebbi, Katsina and Kano State in the morning hours.
Later in the day, parts of Adamawa, Kaduna and Taraba have prospects of isolated thunderstorms with the rest of the region in partly cloudy to sunny skies.
There are Prospects of thunderstorms over Niger, Abuja, Nassarawa, Plateau and Benue in the morning hours with chances of isolated thunderstorms over parts of Plateau, Niger, Kogi and Kwara in the evening with the rest of the region in cloudy skies.
Cloudy skies are anticipated over the southern cities with prospects of thunderstorms over parts of Cross River, Imo, Enugu, Ebonyi, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa State, in the morning hours.
However, isolated thunderstorms are expected over parts of Imo, Osun, Edo, Oyo, Ondo, Ogun, Delta, Rivers, Bayelsa, Akwa Ibom, Cross River and Lagos state during the afternoon and evening hours.
