NiMet forecasts thunderstorm, cloudy conditions

The Nigerian Metrological Agency has forecasts the average weather conditions for state in Nigeria for Sunday 16 May 2021.

According to the Agency forecasts via it Twitter, there will be cloudy to cloudy skies over the Northern region with prospects of a few thunderstorms over Kebbi and Taraba during the morning hours.

Later in the day, isolated thunderstorms are anticipated over Kaduna, Bauchi, Sokoto, Kebbi, Taraba and Adamawa.

The North central cities are expected
to be cloudy with chances of morning thunderstorms over Benue state.

However, pockets of thunderstorms are anticipated over Nasarawa, Kwara, Niger, FCT and Kogi in the afternoon and evening hours.

Cloudy skies are envisaged over the southern cities in the morning with pockets of thunderstorms over Edo, Lagos, Ondo, Ogun, Osun, Abia, Ebonyi, Anambra Imo, Delta, Rivers, Cross River and Akwa Ibom state in the afternoon and evening periods.
