Tinubu appoints new heads for NESREA, NDRBDA

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of new heads for key agencies in Nigeria.

This was made known in a statement issued on Friday by Ajuri Ngelale, the presidential spokesperson.

Mr. Innocent Bariate Barikor has been named the Director General of the National Environmental Standards and Regulation Enforcement Agency (NESREA) and Ebitimi Amgbare as the Managing Director of the Niger Delta River Basin Development Authority (NDRBDA) respectively.

Barikor, before his new role, was a former academic and politician.

He previously served as a member of the Rivers State House of Assembly from 2011 to 2015.

While Amgbare, a retired naval officer and former commissioner in Bayelsa, brings a wealth of experience to his new role.

Tinubu urged Barikor and Amgbare to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, accountability, and excellent service to the people of Nigeria in their new capacities.
