Plateau State Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr Samson Bugama, has empowered 180 farmers in Kanke Local Government Area with farm inputs.
Presenting the items to the farmers yesterday, Bugama said the gesture demonstrates the administration’s commitment to grassroots development.
He added that the intervention aims to boost agricultural activities across the state, in line with Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s drive to enhance agriculture.
“This intervention reflects this administration’s commitment to supporting small-scale farmers with tools required to improve crop yields and farm productivity,” Bugama said.
He said the beneficiaries were drawn from the 18 wards in Kanke LGA, noting that the initiative underscores the government’s dedication to meaningful rural development.
