By Awyetu Asabe Hope

The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency will hold a one-day training workshop on May 6, 2026, in Ikeja to strengthen the operation and maintenance of pollution abatement plants.

General Manager Tunde Ajayi said the programme will build technical capacity, enhance operational efficiency, and promote sustainable practices in safety, maintenance, and environmental management.

He added that it would reinforce compliance with standards guiding emissions and effluent discharge, supporting a cleaner environment.

The training targets plant operators, maintenance personnel, environmental consultants, HSE officers, facility managers, and government officials.

Director of Engineering Services Taiwo Olumuyiwa urged stakeholders to participate actively.
