The Dan-Majen Gwandu Foundation has donated a solar-powered borehole to Malisa Islamiyya School and residents of the surrounding community in Gwandu Local Government Area of Kebbi State.

Founder of the foundation and Managing Director of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Engr. Ahmed Umar Faruk, commissioned the project and said the initiative was aimed at providing students, teachers and residents with access to safe and clean drinking water.

Faruk said the project reflects the commitment of the Kebbi State Government under Governor Nasir Idris to improving access to sustainable water supply across the state.

He added that similar humanitarian projects would soon be extended to other communities in Kebbi State to improve the living conditions of residents.

The NAMA managing director also urged the people to continue supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Nasir Idris to ensure continued delivery of democratic dividends.
