CHAN 2024 Draw Sets Up Thrilling Encounters

The draw for the finals of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) took place in Kenya this week despite a decision by the Confederation of African Football to postpone the tournament due to the unfinshed infrastructure of the host nations.
Kenya have been drawn with two-time winners Morocco and DR Congo in Group A,
while Tanzania will take on Madagascar, Mauritania, Burkina Faso, and Central African Republic in Group B.
Uganda meet Niger and Guinea, as were as “Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2” in Group C, which analysts say makes this pool “an unknown quantity”.
Defending champions Senegal will face Congo, Sudan, and Nigeria in Group D.
The CHAN tournament, which features players in local leagues on the continent, is scheduled to be jointly hosted by Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.
