Heirs Energies Ltd. and Renaissance Africa Energy Company have reaffirmed their commitment to transforming Nigeria’s oil and gas sector through strategic collaboration, innovation, and indigenous leadership.
The renewed alliance was announced following a high-level meeting in Lagos on Tuesday, June 24, 2025.
The visit, led by Heirs Energies CEO Osa Igiehon to Renaissance Africa’s leadership, marked the first formal engagement between the two firms since Renaissance’s recent acquisition and operational transition.
Speaking on the development, Igiehon emphasized the importance of indigenous partnerships in reshaping Nigeria’s energy future.
“Our shared values and vision put us in a strong position to accelerate production, drive innovation, and deliver transformational outcomes,” he said.
The meeting explored mutual growth opportunities and strategic alignment, with both firms pledging to build resilient energy systems and enhance local capacity.
Igiehon noted the alliance could “position Nigeria as a global energy leader.”
Renaissance Africa’s Managing Director, Tony Attah, echoed the sentiment, calling the meeting a promising start to a strategic relationship.
“Partnering with like-minded indigenous companies is essential to unlocking value across the energy chain,” he stated.
Attah added that the collaboration reflects a wider industry trend toward indigenous-led solutions, emphasizing the role of local expertise, sustainable practices, and innovation in boosting national productivity and competitiveness.
The partnership underscores a growing shift in Nigeria’s energy industry, where local players are taking the lead in driving progress and long-term transformation.
